Fota has several rooms which are ideal locations for blessings or wedding ceremonies. The main entrance hall provides an ideal location for a small reception before or after the ceremony. The dining room has a capacity for up to 60 guests while the long gallery is available from October through March (evenings or by special arrangement during the season) and has capacity for up to 100 guests. In terms of capturing that unique photograph, Fota is well known for its world renowned arboretum and its spectacular gardens, the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.

Receptions & Larger Parties

Fota has long been a special place for weddings, anniversaries, gala balls, or any kind of celebration. The interconnecting gallery, billiard and dining rooms combined can comfortably accommodate up to 160 guests for dinner, or used individually for a more intimate party.

Why not set up a glass walled marquee on the parterre lawn, with stunning views of the gardens and arboretum? Guests will be welcomed into the main hall of the house and have access to all house facilities. Marquees can be decorated to the highest standards, rivalling the greatest ballrooms and providing the very comfort and elegance your occasion demands.
