Geraldine Villiers visits Fota

On Thursday 26th August, Fota House had a wonderful surprise visitor - Geraldine Villiers, daughter of Valentine (the boy in the painting with the train). She is granddaughter of Rosemary Villiers who visited Fota last summer, and great-granddaughter of Dorothy & Major Bell. Rita gave her a tour of the house and picked up more stories for the Fota archive. Thank you for coming to Fota Geraldine!

Fota House launches its E-learning site on Tuesday 24th August 2010

Fota Learning Zone, a new ditigal resource for Fota House is being launched today, Tuesday 24th August by Professor Conor Newman of the Heritage Council.
