Volunteering

Volunteers are vital for success at Fota. As a charitable organisation, we rely heavily on the time and support so selflessly given by volunteers. There are so many areas in which we need your help:

House: guided tours, interpretation, research into the collections, restoration of paintings and furniture

Gardens: guided tours, interpretation, the glasshouse project, allotments, improving the orchards

Events: creating, organising and managing events in the house and gardens - from concerts to plant fairs, family days to exhibitions

Whatever you can give of your time and talent - we need you! - be it 1 hour per month or 1 day per week.

Training takes place throughout the year and help is always needed.
