“Healthy Options” - at Fota House
Thursday, 29th November 2007
“Feel better, eat better, cope better and look better”. That is the message which will be conveyed at an Information Day on Women’s Health on Thursday, 29th November from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
With Christmas approaching and stress levels rising, give yourself a treat and learn to cope practically with various aspects of health, diet, stress and grooming.
Deirdre Mackesy, Homeopath and Acupuncturist, is the Owner Manager of Robin Hill Clinic where a multifaceted approach to chronic illness is proving to be extremely effective in alleviating and indeed “curing” many long-term conditions. The first of four Speakers, Deirdre will give a Presentation on “Homeopathy for Women”.
Caroline Fegan, Ph.D. Nutritionist, late of the National Dairy Council and presently on a sabbatical from the HSE will explain how to “Eat, Drink and be Healthy”.
Kelly Ann Motherway, an accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and life coach, who specializes in anxiety, depression/panic attacks, self-esteem issues, personal development and stress will talk about “Stress and Relaxation”. Kelly Ann’s philosophy is that her clients possess the potential for understanding themselves and solving their own difficulties.
After an appetising lunch, courtesy of Fota House, Marsha Morrisson, qualified Satyananda Yoga and British Wheel of Yoga Instructor will give a practical “Introduction to Yoga” and to end the day, Clinique of Brown Thomas, Cork will give a Presentation on Make Up and Grooming. They will also provide “Goody bags” for everyone in the audience!
This is a day not to be missed. However, as numbers are limited pre-booking is essential.
