On Thursday, 10th April, Amanda Neri, Mezzo Contralto, will present “Printemps Qui Commence”, an Evening of Song, at 8.00 p.m.
Amanda, who first performed at Fota in October 2006 returns for the third time by popular demand and this is the first time she has given a Solo Recital. Amanda studies singing at the Cork School of Music with Mary MacSweeney and has many solo performances to her name, most notably with Cara O’Sullivan at St. Finbarres Cathedral where they sang Rossini’s” Petite Messe Solenelle”. It is said of Amanda, “Cork has never before produced a contralto of such natural talent”.
This evening is a must for all music lovers and, as is customary at Fota House, a complimentary glass of wine will be served at the Interval. Tickets: €20.00.
