Poetry Reading at Fota House

A unique opportunity to hear one of Ireland’s leading and award-winning poets will take place when Michael Longley reads from his own works in the intimate surroundings of the Drawing Room of Fota House on Tuesday, 6th February at 8 p.m.

Aptly referred to as “one of the finest lyric poets of our time”, Michael Longley was born and brought up in Belfast where he still lives and works.

He has published eight collections of poetry and has recently assembled the work of forty years in his “Collected Poems”.
